Innovation

Frank Svoboda, Vice-President of SER, has been a leader in the field of natural resources throughout his career. His innovations have included organizing the first Urban Wetlands Group and development of ecologically based models to improve design specifications of wetlands. His tradition of using innovative approaches for natural resource problem solving continues at SER today. SER pioneered the use of hydrology evaluations to determine the status of potentially drained wetlands. Our wetland classification scheme has been incorporated into the Minnesota Wetland Rapid Assessment Method. We also sponsored the first national conference specifically for wetland delineators. At SER, our creative approaches to resolving issues result in better solutions for our clients.
